Work performed
- Detailed technological research (including stratigraphy, FTIR, RAMAN, SEM-EDX, X-ray, IRR, UV), historical-artistic research and preparation of the conservation project
- Consolidation of highly unstable pictorial layer
- Surface cleaning dry and then wet using surfactants
- Gluing of numerous cracks of various degrees of complexity in the wooden support
- Modification of fixed cradle - design and execution of flexible battens allowing for support deformation
- Execution of levelling cradle as a preventive action
